Job Description

• Responsibilities
• Develop and implement new build technologies, practices and methods
• Research and pilot new technologies that enhance the development compile environments, seek out techniques to move the team toward new heights in build technology
• Own and continually improve the software applications and tools that run our production and CI pipelines
• Ensure high quality in delivering installers and builds.
• Integrate Licensing Subsystem and similar systems in products.
• Will need to write components in C/C++ to facilitate installations.
• Automate the Release and Installer systems
• Will write functional, technical specs to document build and installation process.
  

  QUALIFICATIONS for Adobe Hiring Freshers

• Strong programming experience in C\C++. Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong programming experience in scripting languages like Python, Groovy, Unix Shell scripting, Windows PowerShell
• Strong knowledge of XML technologies and tools/libraries to maintain XML file
• Knowledge of deployment technologies for various platforms. Good to have knowledge on Installer authoring and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of software installer management and build/release engineering processes.
• Knowledge of CI systems like Jenkins
• Good understanding of software configuration management processes. Hands-on experience and knowledge of GIT specially GIT commands and command-line utilities.
• Knowledge of Windows Installers and tools like InstallShield, Inno and PackageMaker on mac.
• Knowledge of configuration management and hardware provisioning systems. Strong knowledge on Win and mac operating systems.
• Knowledge of Virtualization and Containerization technologies like VMWare and Docker
• Should be good team player.
