Job Description

• Responsible for user interaction related design projects or aspects of projects
• Assure the best user experience within design programs applying an iterative, user-centric approach
• Creation of innovative interaction concepts to match future usages and expectations
• Specification of complex interaction systems in alignment with HMI SW developers
• High level of independent communication with a multi-national and cross-functional design team
• High affinity for new technologies and willingness to apply these in the automotive context
• Close collaboration with specialists and technical experts from product management and software engineering teams
• Work with customers to understand client’s product visions by researching, storyboarding, wireframing, prototyping user experiences for automotive products incorporating human factors aspects and contemporary look and feel
• Work within defined tool-chains with a focus on continuous improvement of workflow
• Detect and propose alternative ways of working to match future challenges
• Grow and maintain effective partnerships with customer User-experience Design group
  

  QUALIFICATIONS for Visteon Off Campus Hiring Freshers

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech
• 1-3 years working experience as UX designer in web, consumer electronics or automotive environment.
• Experience in the Automotive domain will be preferred
• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies of usability.
• Proficiency in basic sketching skills, Visio & Adobe XD is must
• Expertise in any one of the prototyping tools such as Axure, Figma, InVision, or similar is a must.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office & 2D design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator is expected.
• knowledge of After Effects & 3D design tools like Maya, 3Ds Max is advantageous
• High affinity to automotive user Interfaces, processes, and coordination with a focus on constant improvement of workflow
• Stellar communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Familiarity with 4 wheeler driving & acquaintance with vehicle interior & controls will be highly advantageous.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Works well as a member of a group
• Considered a thought leader on a subject
• Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity
