Job Description

• ECM purchasing & SQD is part of Global procurement automation and ECM services, this department supports on global procurement operational activities.
• Responsibilities :
• You will be the primary responsible engineer in blades module for running process-related cost-out activities
• Run workshops & capture ideas from manufacturing for blade process improvements for cost reduction, especially material and labour reduction
• Set targets for material consumption for external and internal factories in conjunction with colleagues from Cost Management
• Ensure action plans are developed to achieve material consumption reduction in conjunction with colleagues from Blades Manufacturing
• Coordinate implementation of the cost out ideas in alignment with technical functional leads within different sub modules
• Ensure data is communicated onwards so that savings can be tracked in Vestas cost management systems
• Ensure best practice is shared between different Blade factories & regional teams
• Support Global Procurement in negotiations with External Blades Suppliers regarding cost reduction
  

  QUALIFICATIONS for Vestas Hiring Freshers

• Master’s / Bachelor’s in any engineering specialization with production / Manufacturing experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Blade manufacturing process or quality engineering
• Understanding of the different materials and suppliers used in Blades manufacturing
• Understanding of which changes need further approval and Engineering Changes to enable
• Experience working with and understanding the Blade Bill of Materials (BoM)
