Job Description

• Thinking about a career in Air Cargo Industry? Immerse yourself into a fast-paced environment and have the exposure to work with diverse cultures and a range of opportunities in the Air Cargo industry. We are looking for a talent who will generate maximum cargo revenue through effective sales strategies and promotion, provide cargo operations and customer service functions including interaction with customers and Ground Handling Agents (GHA). You will be required to identify needs and improves cargo sales, service and operational performance
• We need you to share your skills and fresh ideas, this includes:
  • Plan, direct and control all selling and marketing activities of the station and secure new source of revenues from the local market.
  • Maintain regular contacts with the cargo industry
  • Liaise with local GHAs and with Head Office Cargo departments to ensure high quality of service is provided.
  • Plan flights with maximum utilization of cargo capacity and maintain close coordination with QR Cargo space control
  • Coordinate with customers/ claims supervisors at head office
  • Control and administrator of ULD stocks
  • Ensure notifications are sent officially on cargo arrival information to freight forwards, agents and customers.
  • Generate and provide weekly and monthly reports

  QUALIFICATIONS for Qatar Airways Hiring Freshers

  • High school education is a must, however a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent would be preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years in the Cargo / Air Freight Industry, out of which 1 year in a similar capacity
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English, and should have knowledge of IATA/TACT regulations
  • MS Office Skills must be at an advanced level
