Job Description
- Job Role:
- Independently Design, Review of Plans and Specifications .
- Independently Design, Review of Traction Sub Stations (TSS) Design along with Interface with HT Transmission Lines along with all necessary design calculations
- Independently Design, Review of traction schemes like schemes for Sectioning & Paralleling Posts (SP) and Sub-Sectioning & Paralleling Posts (SSP)
- Independently Design, Review protection schemes and SCADA
- Writing reports for specifications and other reports needed for power system design.
- Producing technical reports, Bill of Quantities & cost estimations
- Complete task independently & take responsibility on technical matters
- Demonstrate the interest of continual improvement in the design and delivery of work
- Hands on experience in Auto CAD and other power system design software
- Should have experience of working in Railway Traction Power systems Design for Mainline/ Metro Rail Projects
- Should have experience in writing reports for specifications and other reports needed for power system design submissions
- Should be having in-depth knowledge and awareness of all relevant railway codes, IEC/EN/TSI standards and rules for the project.
- Should have experience Electrical power system studies like, Earthing & Bonding, cable sizing, harmonic studies, EMC/EMI studies and other studies required for Traction power system
- Experience in Auxiliary Power system study would be an added advantage.
- Should have understanding of railway design and the underlying principles from conceptual design to execution/construction design.
- Be conversant with national/International standards applicable to traction power systems, including earthing and bonding, and also industry best practice in the same areas.
QUALIFICATIONS for Deutsche Bahn Hiring
- BE/B. Tech – Electrical Engineering
- Language Skills – English
- Years of Railway Experience – 5 to 6 Years
- Computer / software skills :MS Office. AutoCAD, Power systems design software
- Effective communication skills
- Knowing German Language will be an added advantage
