Job Description

  • Adenza is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to join our engineering team.  As a software engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of new modules and enhancements, as well as maintenance of existing components. The Adenza system is a large-scale software product for the capital markets supporting trading, risk management, and processing of various financial products such as Interest Rate, Equity, and Credit Derivatives.
  • Position Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and implement new features and modules in the company’s financial software system, and improving existing ones.
  • Work with Product Management to analyze and understand business requirements.
  • Develop anti-regression tests.
  • Work in close relationship with Quality Assurance team.
  • Assist the Product Support team with customer problems.
  • Develop with latest technologies including Angular, Rest services, Hazelcast, Hibernate, Sprint Boot.
  • Use the Java / typescript programming languages (server / web UI).
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction with bug fixing for several modules, including Risk Limits, Compliance, and Market Conformity.
  • Bring innovative ideas to improve our products, the quality of deliveries, and development processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS for Calypso Hiring Freshers

  • BS and/or MS in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Skills :
  • Experience in professional software development including a high-level OO language such as: JAVA, C#, or C++
  • Excellent problem solving, object-oriented analysis, design & development skills
  • Development experience in UI development, distributed systems, reliability, and scaling.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience practicing Test Driven Development or Open-Source testing tools
  • Experience building software for capital markets, in particular, experience with trading systems (a plus)
  • Familiarity with functional programming, reactive programming, open-source frameworks (Angular, NgRx, Hibernate, Junit, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes) (a plus)

Job Description

  • The Associate Software Engineer will be responsible to design and develop new modules, enhancements, as well as maintenance of existing components. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of our large-scale, software product in the capital markets supporting integration with affirmation/matching/CCP/clearing member platforms of various financial products such as Interest Rate, FX, Equity and Credit Derivatives.
  • Responsibilities
  • Brainstorm and evaluate applications for new technologies and tools as they continue to evolve.
  • Develop frameworks for use by vertical engineering teams throughout the organization.
  • Maintain and extend current client and server-side applications responsible for integration and business logic.
  • Participate in technical reviews as part of the development process.
  • Define, document, and evangelize through global training sessions best practices to be used by engineers across the organization.
  • Work with vertical engineering teams to build new and migrate existing offerings to leverage new patterns and technologies.
  • Maintain documents and implement governance of architectural principles.
  • Research, Design, develop, and test Integration Frameworks and Patterns using Java as the primary language, with minimal supervision.

    QUALIFICATIONS for Calypso Hiring Freshers

  • Minimum of a BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field. MS preferred.
  • In-depth experience with Java programming language.
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis, design & development skills
  • Familiarity with Java, RMI, XML, C++, UNIX/Linux
  • Familiarity with Oracle and/or Sybase databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description

  • The R&D-Engineering team has various subdivisions. This role sits within the Product Center-India, again divided based on products- Treasury, Interest Rate, FX, Collateral, Clearing. This role will be working within a new team and closely work with Software Engineers, SME-Managers. The team is seeking for students pursuing final year (BE/BTech/MCA) Engineering background who are keen to work within the Engineering team. This is a 6-month role with an opportunity to become a permanent part of the team at the end of the period basis performance.
  • Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new tools using Java technologies.
  • Work closely with product management and clients to build new features from initial requirements through delivery.
  • Assists in the build, documentation and testing of the packaged business solution based on the specifications provided by the product manager.
