ANSYS Job Description

• The R&D Verification Engineer joins the Fluids Business Unit to conduct software testing of ANSYS Fluent software.  This role helps to assess how well the product meets customer needs both in terms of functionality and usability and ensures that product requirements and quality standards are satisfied as per the company’s quality procedures. The individual works closely with other members of the product creation team and communicates with technical specialists on product issues.
• Responsibilities :
  • Perform functional and regression testing in manual and/or automated test environments and verify defect fixes
  • Write software defect reports and enhancement requests ​
  • Apply standard techniques and procedures and comply with the company’s overall development and testing processes ​
  • Work in a variety of computing environments, including both Windows and Linux operating systems and high performance computing

  QUALIFICATIONS for ANSYS Hiring Freshers 

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
• MS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
• Working knowledge of the numerical methods and algorithms typically used for CFD
• Experience using Fluent CFD software to solve engineering problems
• Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and with both Linux and Windows Platforms
• Basic understanding of software testing and verification processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team

• Join the ANSYS Customer Excellence team to support our customers on all the aspects of installation, configuration, deployment and usage of Ansys enterprise-level software into their product development and engineers processes, and grow Ansys’ business. Working closely with ANSYS solution architects and ANSYS implementation specialists, you will use knowledge of engineering software and enterprise systems to provide technical post-sales support, find solutions to a wide variety of technical challenges and channel customer feedback to improve Ansys products. • Responsibilities
  • Apply Ansys software configuration, integration and troubleshooting techniques to provide highest level technical support to customers and Channel Partners
  • On an as-needed basis, support Sales and Marketing by conducting demonstrations, webinars, online training, and other meetings.
  • Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed
  • Adhere to support processes to ensure high-quality, timely customer service that results in customer satisfaction
  • Develop technical expertise in on or more area of integration of software components and third-party programs

  QUALIFICATIONS for ANSYS Hiring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or computer-related field
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a computer systems support, administrator, and/or software developer role
• Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency.
• Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed
• MS in Computer Sciences or computer-related field
• Working technical knowledge of C# & .Net programming languages
• Hands-on experience working in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Experience with C++
• Knowledge of Python
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL or Oracle is a plus.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
