Job Description

    • This is a position on the Global Commercial Services (GCS) Risk Management team and is responsible for driving profitable growth for OPEN Lending portfolio
    • The position is responsible for designing, building, and enhancing line strategies, capabilities and processes to manage and monitor risk prudently across the customer lifecycle as it relates to US small business proprietary and co-branded credit cards. The position requires close partnership with Product, Marketing, Operations, Technologies, Finance and other functional teams to develop lending growth strategies that serve our small business customers’ needs while minimizing credit losses.
  • Role & Responsibilities :
  • Manage customer proactive line increase, reactive line increase and line reallocation functions
  • Manage risk across line increase decisions through quantitative analysis and building efficient business processes and flexible capabilities
  • Identify new opportunities to support credit line increases for small businesses while continuing to enhance existing decisions by incorporating new information, techniques, and change factors
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to design and implement lending strategies that enable profitable growth while controlling for through-the-cycle volatility
  • Drive in-depth analytics and collaborate with the Decision Science team to enhance economic logic that supports core risk management decision

    QUALIFICATIONS for American Express Hiring Freshers

  • MBA, Masters’ degree in Economics, Statistics or related fields from a reputed institute, Masters’ degree from IITs
  • 0-3 Years of relevant /related work experience with consistent track record of strong performance
  • Skills :
  • Understanding of P&L drivers for Card Lending business
  • Knowledge of Commercial business is preferred
  • Knowledge of Platforms: CAS, BDP, RDE
  • SAS, SQL, Python, Hive, Excel

Job Description

  • The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers’ confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience.
    • The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation.
    • CFR is responsible for developing and monitoring statistical models for predicting individual and commercial’ behaviors such as credit risk, fraud risk, spending and revolve.
    • These models are used for key business decisions made across the customer life cycle to manage risk and accelerate profitable business growth.

    • Experienced professional in a team member role, well versed in statistical modeling techniques. Nature of work is similar to Analyst 1 but level of supervision is lower. Position requires higher levels of knowledge and skill. Assigned tasks are of low to medium complexity.

Job Description

  • Interface with Analysts, Team leaders, and other members of management.
  • Manage, update and report real-time activities in the department.
  • Monitor Real Time Adherence (RTA) and communicate staffing discrepancies to Team Leaders.
  • Record and Maintain a count of productive FTEs. Capacity Management for sub-processes. Work with Short Term Forecasting and Capacity team for IDPs and Staffing. Leave Cap Formulation; provide advisory support on release of FTEs from the process.
  • Role
  • Communicate systems, voice response and Telecommunication issues to the department.
  • Real time adherence, monitoring and communication. Raise awareness to RTA issues that are impacting service level and aging objectives.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities on things such as shift mix, hours of operation etc. Manage Outbound Contacts on Dialer, with minimal abort rate.
  • Analyze and define at regular intervals, best time to contact Card members to improve total Contacts in the process. In-bound call pattern analysis, trending and staff alignment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Team Leaders and SDL ‘s to improve overall understanding and awareness of daily/weekly business impacts.
  • Feedback, Huddle timings, training schedules and other Off-The-Phone activities. Shift Rotations. Transport Roster Shift 24X7. Shifts: 24 *7.

    QUALIFICATIONS for American Express Hiring Freshers

  • Graduate with 0-3 years of relevant experience preferably in service industry.
  • High result orientation.
  • Proven ability to drive high productivity & sustained performance.
  • Strong team player with a high level of integrity.
  • Result oriented and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing business requirement.
  • Strong Analytical skills (Mathematics and Statistics background preferred).
